Cathy was on a roll during her summer break and finished off these great quilts that will be gifts for friends.

JoyceBJoyce shared this fun quilt made with the Polka Dot Garden collection from In the Beginning Fabrics.

MargoW_CrowsSwapMargo shared this fabulous swap quilt that she made with her quilting group, The Crows! I know the Crows and they all do the most amazing work…this quilt was unbelievable!

Sally_Wool Sampler

Sally brought this quilt in to show me because of how much I love working with wool. This quilt was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It is a Primitive Gatherings pattern, but Sally had truly made it her own with little personal touches, and her stitchery was to die for…words just can’t explain how marvelous this quilt is! Here’s a close-up of the zinnias block…my favorite flower!

More from Quilt Market

Saturday, May 28th, 2011

Just wanted to finish sharing the bits and pieces from Quilt Market. These are photos of some of the vendor booths and displays that captured my attention (and in most cases my purse, too!)

Adornit Cuteness from the girls at Adornit! I’m so in love with this new-to-us fabric company! Watch for these fun prints to be in stock soon!

Bonnie Sullivan’s designs (All Through the Night) are always a favorite! Her wool work is fabulous, and I am so in love with the quilt on the right called “Patchwork Pennies”…a ‘must do’ for sure!

Bird Brain Designs

Remember I said embroidery/stitchery was everywhere? Bird Brain Designs was a feast for the eyes…especially if you enjoy redwork. Hard decisions to make in this booth!

I can never get enough of Bonnie Blue Quilts…the booth was a filled with the most wonderful civil war reproduction quilts…

Meg’s booth (Crabapple Hill Studio) just drew me right in…her new pattern releases are to die for (and we’ve got the majority of them in the shop already with more on the way!)

More Crabapple Hill yummyness!

Kona Solids…candy for quilters!

The sherbet colors looked good enough to eat!

Primitive Gatherings Another favorite that I never miss…Primitive Gatherings. I’m not sure which are my favorite, the wool kits and patterns or the fabulous quilt patterns! I confess to indulging my love of all things wool…watch for it! Lisa and Nick are always fun to see at market, and they never disappoint with the new things they bring to share!

Riley Blake Designs had a super cute booth display…I want that bike! And their fabric-wrapped tree was so cute! We’ll have a couple of their fabric collections coming in the next few months.

Windham Fabrics Windham Fabrics always has an enticing booth, too…love their reproduction fabrics!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this ‘taste’ of market. Some of our new things have already arrived, and more are expected in the coming weeks and months. I hope you like what I bought for you!
