With summertime comes vacation plans. And every quilter knows vacation is an opportunity for a new quilting adventure! Whenever we’d take a vacation while the kids were little, I’d do my research and would plan our itinerary to include quilt shops along the way. Mike was always amazed that I knew exactly where the next quilt shop would be…he swore I could “smell a quilt shop a mile away!” Not true, and he eventually caught onto me but was always willing to entertain the boys while I made a visit to whatever quilt shop we’d stumbled upon.
